Terms of Service

01Acceptance

By using Keyzee ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Eligibility

Keyzee is intended for use by licensed locksmiths and security professionals. You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to operate as a locksmith in your jurisdiction.

03Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must not share master key system data with unauthorised parties.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the key generation engine.
• Exceed rate limits or abuse the API.
• Share or distribute generated master key system data outside your professional scope.

05Service tiers

Trial — all new accounts receive a 30-day Pro trial with full access, no credit card required. After the trial period, creating new customers, systems, and doors is disabled until you subscribe; existing data remains accessible in read-only mode.

Pro (A$49/mo or A$529/yr) — unlimited customers, systems, and doors with all features.

Team (A$149/mo) — all Pro features plus multi-user access, shared customers and systems, role-based permissions, and up to 25 seats. Limits are enforced both client-side and server-side.

Data export — every account, including trial and expired accounts, can download a complete archive of their data at any time, with optional client-side passphrase encryption. We do not retain historical snapshots; users are responsible for keeping their exports.

06Data ownership

You retain ownership of all master key system designs and customer data you create. Keyzee does not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

07Security disclaimer

While Keyzee employs industry-standard security measures (RLS, encryption, bcrypt), master key system security is ultimately the responsibility of the locksmith. You should independently verify all generated systems before deployment and follow your jurisdiction's security standards.

08Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any losses arising from system downtime, data loss, or errors in generated key systems.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keyzee's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting sales@keyzee.app.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

12Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
